CHRISTINE MAZURYK

Soprano

Christine has been performing since the age of six. Her advanced talent at a young age awarded her the opportunity to perform in several theatrical productions throughout the USA, including with Disney.

In 2019, she was awarded the prestigious Freddie G Award for Excellent Female Vocalist for her role of Rafiki in The Lion King, Jr. at the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.

Christine’s passion for opera at the young age of 12 led her to being the youngest performer, at the age of 15, in the adult chorus for the Naples Opera Company. She performed with the company for the 2019-2020 season under the direction of the Spanish Maestro Ramón Tebar. Performances included Carmen, La Boheme, Aida, and Mikado.

In March of 2022, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts awarded Christine with the highest distinction, Gold Award, for solo performance in theatre.

The same year she was invited, as the youngest participant , to attend the prestigious 2022 Opera Lucca’s summer program. During her time there, she attended master classes with renowned maestros and opera singers, including Peter Volpe.

During her reading years at Sutton Valence School in Kent, Christine has also been performing throughout Portugal and Belgium and, most notably, her December 2022 stellar performance for London’s Westminster Clothworkers Company, where she was invited to return the following year again

Christine is advancing into her 3rd year at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
